Dr. Mitzi shares information about The Land Exhibit at Epcot.  This is a great place to take a break and enjoy one of the exhibits, have a meal and get out of the hot sun or inclement weather for a while.   At the Land you’ll find a 20 minute movie combining live footage with animation called The Circle of Life, which features characters from the Lion King who have a great lesson in environmental responsibility that’s enjoyable for both children and adults.

The Land is also home to Soarin’ — a fun and exhilarating ride.

Then there is the Living with the Land Boat Ride –a relaxing 13 minute boat ride that takes you on an informative journey through a tropical rain forest, an African desert complete with sandstorm, and the windswept plains of a small, turn-of-the-century family farm. Here you can see innovative farming techniques, such as Hydroponics, Aeroponics and Aquaculture in action.

There is also the Behind the Seeds Tour, led by a member of the Epcot Science Team on which, for an additional price you can get a close look at some of the innovative gardening techniques Epcot is utilizing.

Also be sure to check out the Sunshine Seasons food court.  It’s a great choice for vegetarians and vegans and one of the best and most reasonable of all the food courts at Epcot.  Also as with any fresh vegetables you eat at any restaurant in Epcot, it’s likely they were grown right there.
