Prayers for Japan – Earthquake and Tsunami – How You Can Help

When something as catastrophic as Japan’s earthquake and tsunami occurs, we may find ourselves wondering what we can do to help. Through today’s technology, we watch as events unfold and see with heart-wrenching sadness our brothers and sisters of planet earth enduring suffering, pain, and tremendous loss.

So how can we help?

We can join together, across faith traditions, with the millions worldwide who are sending prayers of comfort and healing to all those affected by this devastating event.

Prayer for Japan

First take a few deep cleansing breaths.
Breathe in God.
Ground yourself in God
and ground yourself in Love,
for God is Love.

The Divine Power of God flows through all the Universe.
As God is Love, so too am I Love.
As this is true for me it is true for all.
I now join with millions worldwide to send comfort, peace
and safety to Japan.
Collectively our hearts are flooded with Love for all who live on our planet.
We send this Love to every man, woman, child and animal who has been affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
We send Love to all who have lost their lives as a result of this tragedy. We send Love and comfort to all who are grieving the loss of loved ones.
We send Love, strength and courage to all who are assisting with those who are missing.
We send Love to all of the rescue workers from around the world who are helping.
We send Love, wisdom and guidance to all who are working to stabilize the nuclear reactors.
We love you, we are one with you. You are not alone.
Thank you God for the manifestation of this prayer.
We let go with faith and trust. And so it is. Amen.
