Dare2create means stepping forth with boldness and authenticity to follow our passions and goals, allowing our talent and creativity to shine. It’s recognizing that we’re living in a time when it’s crucial that we see our interconnectedness with all life and how each of us can play a part in creating a world that works for all earth’s inhabitants.
The purpose of the dare2create show is to highlight and connect individuals, groups and organizations from all walks of life who are, by following their passions, creating a better world for all, while also inspiring others to follow their dreams.
Dr. Mitzi exudes joy and is a loving, powerful expression of peace — building bridges between people of all faiths, philosophies, cultures, and races. She is honored to be the recipient of several awards for commitment and loving service in the pursuit of global peace.
She has worked with the Faith and Community Initiatives Department of Governor Janet Napolitano’s office to assist the needs of those who were evacuated to Arizona as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
She has served as the co-director of the
Arizona Department of Peace with Terri Mansfield and as Peace Emissary for the
Affiliated New Thought Network. In conjunction with Best Friends Animal Society and 24 faith leaders from a wide array of faiths, Dr. Mitzi is a co-author of
A Religious Proclamation for Animal Compassion, which was unveiled in Washington DC with members of congress.
Dr. Mitzi serves on the board of the
Arizona Interfaith Movement and is co-author of
Voices of Faith and also
Interfaith Inspirations for our Globalized World. These books have received widespread praise from scholars professors and theologians including a endorsement from His Holiness, The Dalai Lama.
She is a gifted, passionate and energetic speaker and has spoken to wide acclaim at many national conferences, leadership trainings, business and networking groups, peace events, interfaith groups, spiritual centers and churches. She has also been a guest on several radio and television shows.
Dr. Mitzi’s ministerial credentials and Doctorate of Religious Studies are from Emerson Theological Institute and her M.A. is from the University of Utah. Currently she serves as the Congregant Care Minister at Creative Living Fellowship (www.creativelivingfellowship.com).
Originally from London, England, her creative expression has found many forms, including touring Europe as an ice dancer with Holiday on Ice, coaching ice-skating, and teaching. A vegetarian for over 20 years, Dr. Mitzi now embraces a vegan/raw food lifestyle. She lives in Arizona with her beloved husband, Ron Peer, and their five fabulous felines: Socrates, Katie, Echo, Nefertiti and Bahramji.

Hi Mitzi! I’ve finally found time to do a bit of exploring on your site – you have now been favorited in my bookmarks. I love it! It’s fun AND inspirational, but with depth, too. It’s a great reflection of who you are as a person. Very nicely done!
