Service to SURFice Dog — Canine Helps Quadriplegic Surf
Incredible must see video of Ricochet, an intelligent and curious canine who, on the way to becoming a service dog, discovered that her inquisitiveness and passion for chasing all that life has to offer, took her service skills in a different direction. This was sent to me by Judy Fridono, Executive Director of Puppy Prodigies. Grab some tissues — it’s a tear jerker, but in a feel good sort of way. Great music by Taylor Hicks. My wonderful friend, the incomparable Renee Morgan Brooks sings the Little Drummer Boy like you have never heard it sung before. She embodies the characters in the song and brings it to life in way I have never seen done by any other performer. Truly magnificent. Watch how at 3:30 she begins to transform into the Little Drummer Boy and her joy and energy build. Then combined with a tender humility she brings the song home. Amazing stellar performance. Gives me chills and makes me cry every time. What a journey of opening and transformation you take us on Renee. What a blessing you are!
